Phoenix Resource Center, Inc. was founded by 4 individuals on April 1, 2011. Phoenix Resource Center, Inc. staff are trained in various therapeutic interventions and parent education. Whether a staff member is new to our team, or if they have been a part of the Phoenix family for years each one has a special gift for working with families and youth at risk.

Elizabeth Reaves, LAPC, NCC
Elizabeth Reaves is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling through the University of West Georgia. Elizabeth Reaves began her in home work as a parent educator in 2005. She then moved into the role of administrative assistant and finally Program Administrator of Phoenix Resource Center, Inc. Allison Pressley is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Education. Allison began working with children and families in 2008. Allison has a natural ability to adapt and serve families who are initially nervous about the therapeutic process. Allison is proficient in
Debbie Stewart, LPC
Debbie has a Master’s Degree in Education and is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in the mental health/substance abuse treatment field for 20. She has dedicated 14 years to working with referred families through in-home services. Debbie specializes in substance abuse assessments and treatment, and has led substance abuse and anger management groups for both children and adults. Debbie conducts
completing biopsychosocial assessments, Individualized Family Service Plans, and home evaluations. Allison Pressley also provides fiscal oversight for Phoenix’s Promoting Safe and Stable Families awards.

Phoenix RC in-home therapist are well trained in a variety of therapeutic issues such as addiction, sexual abuse, neglect, family or origin issues, and domestic violence.

Phoenix RC CSI Workers assist parents with various issues such as effective discipline and praise, clear messages, and behavior modification. CSI Workers also conduct supervised visitations and Home Evaluations on behalf of DFCS.
